Celebrating Women’s stories. Funny, tender, provocative!
Whilst the title may be confronting, the stories are universal. “The Vagina Monologues,†a play exploring women’s experiences premiered in New York in 1996.
Originally penned by Eve Ensler, it has become an international annual fundraising event celebrating and supporting women of all backgrounds and ages.
New monologues and readings are presented each year providing insight into what it is to be a woman. Laugh, cry, celebrate!
MATES will join the worldwide campaign and host “The Vagina Monolgues,†directed by Elizabeth Ross on February 14 & 15.
Proceeds will be donated to the Redlands Centre for Women.
